In Krillion, knowing the right answer is only half the challenge. This daily trivia game rewards players for coming up with answers that are correct but unlikely to be chosen by everyone else. You get seven prompts, a short timer for each one, and a chance to see how deep your answers can take you beneath the ocean.
Each prompt gives you a category or question, and you usually have around 15 to 25 seconds to type your response. The trick is to avoid the most obvious choice. If a question asks for something used as a filter, answering “coffee filter” might work, but plenty of other players may think of it too. A less common answer can earn a much better score, provided it fits the question.
That doesn't mean typing the strangest word you can think of. Krillion needs to recognize your answer as valid, so an obscure response may get rejected if it isn't in the game's accepted answers. Finding that middle ground between unusual and correct is where the real challenge lies.
Everyone gets the same seven daily prompts, which makes it interesting to compare results with other players. Once a question appears, there's little time to sit and think through every possibility. You have to make a quick decision, trust your knowledge, and move on before the countdown reaches zero.
Miss the timer, and you lose the chance to score on that prompt. Choose a common answer, and you may earn only a shallow score, while a rare response can send your character much deeper into the sea. After all seven rounds, your results show how well your answers performed against the daily group.
Krillion is less about memorizing facts than looking at familiar questions from a different angle. An answer that seems ordinary to you might be unusual to everyone else, while a clever guess can fall flat if the game doesn't accept it. With a fresh set of prompts each day, there's always another chance to think faster, take a smarter risk, and beat your previous depth.
