Quenq Vice City is an unofficial browser port of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City that brings the 2002 classic into a modern web environment. Built with technologies such as WebAssembly, it recreates the familiar 1980s-inspired city inside a browser, giving players access to the open-world experience without setting up a traditional emulator or launcher.
Once Tommy Vercetti steps into Vice City, there is rarely a reason to stay on one road for long. Cars, mopeds, trucks, boats, and helicopters give you plenty of ways to move around, while the city's two main islands are packed with places to explore.
You can also turn an ordinary drive into a police chase. Causing enough trouble raises your Wanted Level, bringing increasingly serious opposition, from patrol cars and SWAT teams to FBI agents and military forces at the highest level.
The radio is another big part of cruising around town. Stations such as Flash FM, Wave 103, and Emotion 98.3 provide period music, DJs, advertisements, and commentary as you travel through the city.
The main storyline sends Tommy into deals and conflicts involving lawyers, gangs, wealthy characters, and rival criminals. Completing missions opens up more of Vice City while gradually giving Tommy the opportunity to build his own operation.
Property ownership adds another layer of progression. Businesses such as the Malibu Club, taxi company, and print works can become sources of regular income, but they first require their associated management missions to be completed.
There are also plenty of side activities. Drive an ambulance for Paramedic missions, chase criminals in a police vehicle, collect fares as a taxi driver, or deliver pizzas around the neighborhood on a scooter.
Vice City gives Tommy an extensive arsenal, including chainsaws, katanas, pistols, submachine guns, assault rifles, and rocket launchers. Certain weapons can even be used from vehicles, letting you fire toward enemies or police while moving through the streets.
On mobile devices, the port adds virtual controls that adapt to the situation, while performance options let players adjust graphics, draw distance, and frame-rate limits. A save manager also allows progress to be exported and imported, making it easier to continue a long playthrough between browser sessions.
