In Block Blast, the puzzle begins with three shapes waiting below the grid. Each piece must be dragged onto the board before a new set appears. Some shapes are small and easy to place, while others take up more room, so every position you choose affects what can happen next.

The board clears space whenever a full row or column becomes completely filled. Once that happens, the blocks in that line vanish, and the grid opens again. Creating space like this keeps the puzzle going and allows larger shapes to fit later.
Placing pieces adds points to your score. Clearing lines increases the total even more. When two or more lines disappear together, the score grows faster. Clearing lines on consecutive turns can also raise the multiplier, helping the score climb quickly.
The game continues as long as the current shapes can still be placed somewhere on the grid. Eventually, the board becomes crowded and larger pieces no longer fit. When none of the remaining shapes have a space left on the board, the round comes to an end, and the final score is set.
