Rooftop Rush is a 2D endless runner where you skate across rooftops while trying to escape the police. The screen keeps moving forward, and you have to keep up. A police helicopter follows you the whole time, so stopping means getting caught.
You skate automatically and control jumps and movement to avoid obstacles. Rooftops have gaps, barriers, and hazards that can crash your run. The longer you survive, the faster the game becomes, and mistakes are easier to make.
Coins appear along the rooftops while you skate. Picking them up lets you unlock new content later. Missing a few coins is fine, but crashing into an obstacle ends the run immediately.
The game includes multiple characters such as Matt, Ernie, Lara, Kuro, Mia, and others. You can also unlock different skateboards and boosts using coins.
