Pokepath TD is a Pokémon defense game where you protect routes instead of traveling through them. When you start, you create a profile, pick an avatar, and choose your first Pokémon. That first choice matters more than it seems later on.
You begin with one starter type. Charmander is a Fire-type, Treecko is a Grass-type, and Froakie is a Water-type. Each one has different stats, so the game feels a bit different depending on what you pick at the start.
Your Pokémon are placed along the path to stop enemies from getting through. As they fight, they gain levels, become stronger, and can evolve. You can have up to 10 Pokémon active on a team, while extra ones are kept in the box.
New Pokémon can be bought from the shop, but the cost goes up every time you purchase one. Because of that, you can’t just buy everything at once and have to think about what you really need.
Each enemy has its own traits, so some are harder to deal with than others. Before starting a wave, you can see what enemies will appear and adjust your team to match them.
You can switch routes without losing progress, and the game saves automatically when a wave ends or when you change maps. That makes it easy to play a little at a time without worrying about losing anything.
